SCISID#### is a Category 1 cookie. The platform does not work without it. The SCISID is created when a user authenticates against the platform using whatever mechanisms are configured by the Pipeline Pilot Server administrator. Depending on the server configuration, the SCISID cookie may be a persistent or session-based cookie. In either case, Pipeline Pilot Server will not accept the cookie past its expiration date, which is stored in the encrypted cookie body.
